On June 25th, Safron teams up with director Dito Montiel for his latest thriller, Rookie Mistake. The film comes form Lake Hope Features and stars Kevin Spacey (Superman: The Man of Steel) and Chad Michael Murray (Walking on Asphalt). The official synopsis: "Donny Lavine is a veteran assassin who works for the Solicci crime family, his son Michael Lavine is a rookie assassin who helps his father. Donny and Michael are told to kill a guy that may stand trial against the Solicci boss, Tommy Solicci. But Michael kills the wrong guy, and the guy stands trial and Tommy Solicci is sent to jail for life, now his son Frank Solicci has put a hit out on both Donny and Michael now it is up to Donny and Michael to get out of New York in the next 24 hours, before the Solicci family finds them."

TMNT: Origins, a new animated film from director Stephen Sommers is scheduled to be released on June 11th, 2010. The voice cast will include Oscar winner Adrien Brody in his first film since The Raven in 2009. The film will also include the voices of James Roday, Gbenga Akinnagbe, and Josh Holloway. The film is produced by Sparckvalentine.

Beyond the Horizon, a thriller pitch from new producer Romeitaliano, has been picked up for release by the Ship of Fooles Studio. The film is set in London, England, a location where SoF recently shot Poison (currently in theaters). Kate Winslet is being considered for the lead role of a woman who accidentally kills her husband which causes her to have a mental breakdown. When the past catches up to her, both her live and that of her daughters is put into danger. No release date has been set for this release.

This Friday got a surprise release from the returning EricM and Lake Hope Features. Here is a preview of the plot for Strung Out on a Wire. "It's been four years since Scott's brother Michael skipped town on the run from some bad debts and dangerous enemies. He's twenty two, soon to be graduating from University and living with his brother's ex-girlfriend, Mary. Things couldn't be going better, until Scott gets word that his brother might be back in town, and bring even more baggage with him. When Michael returns he has the mob on his back, the cops on his tail, and all the enemies he left behind looking for blood. Scott is forced to choose between the bonds of family and the danger it brings or the new life and future he has worked so hard to gain. "

The full cast for the movie version of the hit Fox television show 24 has been announced! It includes Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer, Carlos Bernard as Tony Almeida, Reiko Aylesworth as Michelle Dessler, Christian Kane as Peter Madsen, James Badge Dale as Chase Edmunds, Elisha Cuthbert as Kim Bauer, Quantum as Robert Daniels, Pedro as Shawn, Russell Yuen as Lee Jin, Yiun/Joseph Chung, Paul Shulze as Ryan Chappelle, Mary Lynn Rajskub as Chloe O’Brian, Sarah Clarke as Nina Myers, Daniel Dae Kim as Agent Tom Baker, Tom Sizemore as Sid, and Glenn Morshower as Aaron Pierce. The film also promises a couple surprise returns, who could they be? You'll have to buy a ticket this Friday to find out.

After a long hiatus, J*A*G will be returning to the HTG airwaves. A teaser trailer has been posted on the MB. And we have the full official cast list: David James Elliott, Catherine Bell, Patrick Labyorteaux, John M. Jackson, and Steven Culp. The show will be airing on DRTV!

Wonder Inc, the new kids in town have put down 50 million dollars for a 3 month lease for the House, M.D. franchise, based on the popular FOX television show. Their first move with the franchise? Going to war with Omar Little from The Wire. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, you should head on over to the MB.
