Sources tell us that Lake Hope Features' studio head Quantum went on a spending spree at the HTG Casino, spending as much as 80 million dollars on slot machine spins! The studio head won a few medium level awards, but nothing to justify the huge spending. Among the wins were such awards as "Viva La Toronto", "Good Cast", and "A G4 Exclusive", and another spin scored 10 million dollars back for the studio.
We're only one week into Cable's inaugural session, and already one network is shaking up their schedule for next session. Sources close to the Bloodsuckers and TCW: NXT sets say that second season renewals have been dished out at four episodes a piece.
According to sources close to Bloodsuckers showrunner, blueothello, he was quoted as to saying "hell yes" to the news yesterday. Bloodsuckers, which is battling against the highest rated show on cable, The Warded Few, has fended for itself fairly well, pulling in a 4.000 rating, a high for cable standards. Bloodsuckers stars Jeremy Renner, Jasika Nicole, Zoe Kravitz, Marshall Allman, and Matt Smith. Rumors are swirling that new cast members may be added for season 2.
TCW: NXT, the spin-off of the longest running TV series in HTG: TV history, was the third highest buzzed show on cable and it came first in its time slot in week one. TCW: NXT was also one of two shows to make the move from network to cable TV. Upon hearing the news about the renewal, Lucian was heard commenting on how the arrangement "should work" out in the end. Early rumblings are indicating that TCW: NXT may get bumped up to an hour show, though that is only a rumor, for now. TCW: NXT's cast includes TCW vets Orlando Jordan and Mike Adamle as well as a variety of rookies.

Originally pegged for a June 11th release, TMNT: Origins has been moved to July 2nd, an expected big box office weekend. The move is said to be caused by animation delays associated with the film. "We're just tweaking the film," Andy Wachowski, a co-director of the film said in a press release, "we want to make sure that the fans love it."
TMNT: Origins stars the voices of Adrien Brody (The Raven), Josh Holloway (TV's The Policeman), James Roday (Jack of All Trades), and Dominic Monaghan (TV's Unfinished Business). It is being directed by The Wachowski Brothers (Godsend Conspirator).
Taking on the June 11th date will be Zombie Madness, which was originally scheduled for June 18th, is the feature debut of producer Someonesomeone. The change comes on the heels of an earlier then expected finish with production. "Everybody worked there asses off to get this film done," said star Ashton Kutcher "It was a lot of fun, and we hope that people don't take it too seriously because it's just a fun ride of a movie." Zombie Madness stars Ashton Kutcher (Silver & Black), Freddie Prinze Jr (Pulse), LL Cool J (Sparks), and Brad Garrett, in his HTG debut. It is being directed by Harold Ramis (TIVO).
The June 18th date that was to be occupied by Zombie Madness will now be occupied by In Wonderfalls, the newest film from Exavior (The Wood: Remember Those Times). The film is set within the world of the TV series Wonderfalls. It was originally scheduled for a June 25th release. "It's a nice change of pace film," said star Bill Cosby "It's short and sweet and its got me playing mean."

And finally, taking on the June 25th date vacated by In Wonderfalls will be Safron's newest feature Rookie Mistake. "It's a change of pace for me," said star Kevin Spacey "I usually play weaker guys, but here I'm an assassin, and to put it blatantly, it's awesome."
Rookie Mistake stars Kevin Spacey (Superman: The Man of Tomorrow), Chad Michael Murray (Walking on Asphalt), Giovanni Ribsi (Mafia), and Matt Gerald (TV's T.G.). The film is being directed by Dito Montiel (HTG debut).

-Rookie Mistake comes out June 25th.
-TMNT: Origins comes out July 2nd.
Add this news tidbit to the rumor column, but sources tell THT that Brad Garrett was spotted having a romantic dinner with Lake Hope Features studio head Quantum. The tall thespian co-stars as Barry in Lake Hope's new horror flick, Zombie Madness, from director Harold Ramis and producer Someonesomeone. The sources tell us that Garrett is acting in the film for free in exchange for the date with the famed studio head. We can not confirm this report. Other rumors have stated that Sting, Harold Ramis, and Ashton Kusher are all working for free the film for various reasons, but apparently none of them have a crush on the studio head. The zombie film opens on June 10th, 2010.

He earned a Best Actor nomination at the Seventh HTG Awards for his role in Tycoon. Bellucci co-starred with Imperioli in Pizza Tycoon and worked with Coppola in 2006's Tre Sebati. This is her seventh HTG film credit.
The film is set in 1940, while Europe is at the brink of World War II. Carlo is a Jewish-Italian man who works at a book company in Italy, as they are brought into the conflict of war.
