Welcome to the HTG Town Dump, where tarnished hopes and mottled dreams are recycled into fresh aspirations and joyful desires... if you're lucky and have paid the nominal dumping fee.

The dump has been seeded at its opening with a large variety of HTG possessions... some that you have seen, plus others that you have not.  A small handful of these possessions are very valuable.  A handful are of some value.  A lot of the things found in the dump are not worth very much, if anything at all.  After all, it is the town dump.

To dig through what's at the dump, submit a deal to htgstore for $1 million, with TOWN DUMP in the subject.  Include in the description of the transaction something that you possess (just one), but are now giving to the town dump.  This may be a DVD, an unwanted pet or toy, or even an award that you really don't want and can't sell.  Also mention a number between 1 and 100 (inclusive).  Only one such transaction per citizen is allowed each transaction period.  These transactions are gathered and approximately once a week the town dump operator will go through the dump to see what you have found.  Your possession will be added to the dump to possibly be found by another HTG citizen.

Please note that all possessions found at the dump adhere to the same rules as if you had bought them.  If you do not have room for the new possession, you do not gain it and are given a conciliation item.  (For example, if you find an automobile, but your garage is full, you are given the conciliation item of the week.)  Do not use the town dump if you do not wish to take this risk.  For some, though, the gamble will be rewarded.
