The latest Did You Know This?
It
is up to the studio releasing a movie to update a talent's TS in the
studio's thread on the forum if the movie he/she was in has left the
theatres and has had a change in score. If the TS has risen, the score
needs to be edited on the thread and the difference updated to centralbank.
The disadvantage, however, is that, if the TS has lowered, there is no money
refunded. Good news: The new TS is used if there is a raise, not
the lower one. Keeping on top of the TS changes is a part of the
studio chiefs' responsibilities.
Example: Billy Moviestar is scheduled to star in
Billy's Next Big Movie this Friday. His TS is 2.000. The studio
chief paid 2 million dollars to use him. However, Billy was just in
Billy's Dog Stains the Carpet, which just left the theatres. Billy's
TS goes from 2.000 to 2.679. Before Friday's new release, the studio
chief releasing Billy's Next Big Movie needs to update the studio's thread
with the new TS and pay centralbank an extra 679 thousand dollars (for a
starring role, half that for a supporting one).

Scores are what counts. The talents want every penny owed to them.
